It’s probably pretty obvious, but we really love what we do. Over the years we have worked with numerous couples making sure their vision of an intimate elopement ceremony on Maui’s most beautiful beaches can come to life. Seeing beautiful couples who are head over heels in love with each other tying the knot makes our hearts skip a beat, and if there is one thing we’ve learned along the way – no two occasions are the same. Ever. And that’s the true beauty of any elopement – it doesn’t get more personal than this, allowing the couple’s personalities shine through. Just look at Melissa and Chuck!
The gorgeous Midwestern couple flew all the way from Chicago to say their I do’s on the striking Mokapu Beach. While they chose an intimate ceremony for the special day, their closest friends and family were waiting back home to celebrate with a bang thus an extended photo coverage of their elopement was an absolute must. And, boy, did Angie Diaz deliver – the images are not only awe-inspiring but they are the perfect depiction of both the wedding and the couple’s vibrant and whimsical personalities.
Mokapu Beach is a quarter mile long beach stretch complete with swaying palm trees, lush greenery, and dramatic lava rock formations together creating the ideal backdrop for the most beautiful wedding photos and it really goes without saying but the charm of this stunning location is even more profound in person.
As the couple stood sunkissed on the beach, the ceremony was sweet, deeply personal, and accompanied by endless smiles and laughter, something that both Melissa and Chuck radiate. The ceremony was officiated with the traditional blowing the pū and the soft sounds of the ukulele.
Mokapu Beach is a mere stone’s throw from the luxury adults-only Hotel Wailea and as the sun dropped below the horizon, the couple enjoyed an intimate dinner overlooking the ocean and the starry evening sky.
