With the new year upon us we were fortunate to be part of the nuptials between Karen and Mathew. Traveling to the beautiful island of Maui all the way from Australia, Karen and Mathew’s Intimate Beach Wedding was truly romantic. With the picturesque backdrop only Hawaii can provide, the couple were able to capture the ambiance they dreamed of  with heartfelt touches, making their day unique and especially sentimental.

Karen’s beautiful make up by Mei Li Autumn was subtle and sweet, and the floral headpiece was the perfect addition to her soft wavy hair. The gorgeous in house florals by Intimate Weddings Maui brought together the final touches, and the creamy pinks and peaches created the perfect charm for the sunset vows.

Their gorgeous sunset ceremony on the sands of Ironwood Beach were officiated by Ernest Pua’a. As the sun began to set, the couple, and their intimate gathering of loved ones, were serenaded by Kani Masoe and his ukelele. Karen and Mathew stood in a special butterfly circle designed by Andrea Padilla, and with the completion of their vows, the couple released monarch butterflies into the sunset skies. After they said “I Do,” the newlyweds stole away for photos along the quiet sands and rocks, wonderfully captured by Caitlin Cathey Photography. The evening was completed as they joined their small gathering of ten guests to enjoy a wonderful reception at the Hyatt Regency, attending the enchanting Drums of the Pacific Lu’au.

We were so thril led to be a part of your special day! Thank you, Karen and Mathew! Congratulations and all the very best from Intimate Weddings Maui!
